DO YOU HAVE OUR WEDDING DATE AVAILABLE?

My best advice it to book early. During busy season (February - April & October - December), my schedule fills up fast. After you CONTACT ME, I'll send you my calendar. 

WHAT PARTS OF THE WEDDING DAY DO YOU CAPTURE?

All of it that is humanly possible to capture. From usually an hour of getting ready, to about two hours after dinner, which is usually about 5 songs into dancing. 

HOW IS THE FINAL PRODUCT DELIVERED TO US?

Via online gallery. You can download, print, order, etc.

DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT IN CASE OF GEAR FAILURE?

Yes. I carry two camera bodies, multiple lenses, and backup storage as I take the image. This is also another reason to have a second photographer, so we have another set of backed up images and back up gear.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?

I like timeless, classic imagery. I will get a combination of posed and candid images. I try to get everyone as relaxed as possible.

DO YOU HAVE A PROCESS FOR BACKING UP THE FOOTAGE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE WEDDING?

Of course. I go straight to my office and transfer the images from the memory cards into two separate back up locations before I go to sleep that night.

HOW WILL YOU COORDINATE THE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THE VIDEOGRAPHER?

One of the first things I'll do is form a relationship with the videographer. We will talk about our respective game plans, and make agreements. It's nice for me to see the videographers work prior to the wedding. I will rely on you to tell me if video or photo leads the day.

CAN WE REQUEST A LIST OF SPECIFIC SHOTS WE WOULD LIKE?

Prior to your wedding, we will discuss your shot list, as well as family formals list. I make my very best effort to satisfy your desire of an image, if it's within my power. Pinterest is a great resource for us to talk about imagery and your vision.

HOW MANY FINAL IMAGES SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?

It really depends on the collection you choose. An 8 hour wedding will typically receive 700 images, more or less.

WILL WE RECEIVE ALL PHOTOS TAKEN, INCLUDING THOSE UNTOUCHED?

I'm happy to send you all the images if you want. I'll cull and edit the images I'm officially including in the gallery. Just know that there will be a lot, unedited, and hard to manage because there will be no real structure or order, but if you are cool with that so am I!

WILL THE PHOTOS BE RETOUCHED AND COLOR BALANCED? IS THAT DONE BEFORE I SEE THE PROOFS?

You will receive fully edited, and technically correct, final images in your online gallery. I don't do proofs. I'm also happy to retouch any images that you plan to use in albums, and if you are printing extra large (like 8 foot tall), I'll give you a different file for that.

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS FOR SHARING PHOTOS ONLINE OR FOR PUBLICATION? DO YOU OWN COPYRIGHT TO THE PHOTOS?

We have a shared copyright, so you can do anything but sell the images. I ask that you don't edit, crop, or apply a filter to to the images you post or print. It's not a contractual thing, just a nice thing to not do. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO EDIT THE PHOTOS?

Around 4-6 weeks.

WILL WE HAVE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?

Yes. Full rights to print and share.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT AND WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE?

The deposit is 25% of the cost of your chosen collection to secure the date. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding. You can make payments, or not, whatever you'd like to do.

DO YOU CHARGE ANY ADDITIONAL HIDDEN FEES?

The only additional fee is travel.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes. I have $1m in liability for the venue and auto insurance.

DO YOU HAVE A WRITTEN CONTRACT?

Absolutely. It secures the date, and protects us both.

WHAT TIME DO YOU ARRIVE ON SITE TO PREPARE?

I usually arrive 20 minutes prior to my contracted time. I'm usually close by before that, just in case there are traffic or construction delays.
