Hello & welcome to the blog! I'm Angela Norton, and I'm a family, senior, & wedding photographer based in North Central Florida. I'd love for you to relax a while here, and enjoy reading the ANP stories. You'll also find resources for your next session or wedding!
Kirkland and Austin’s Engagement Session at Coon Hollo in Micanopy was one I’ll never forget.
Their story started before I met them, but I had the absolute privilege of being there to document Austin’s SURPRISE proposal! With the help of his friends, we planned a “portrait session” for them both. Austin sold it to Kirkland as a dating anniversary present.
We thought this was a better idea than me hiding in the bushes trying to spy on them!
And obviously she said YES!
Kirkland and Austin are such kind people. They are full of smiles and have a go-with-the-flow attitude. In other words, they are a dream to work with, and their engagement session was really fun!
I’m always a little nervous when heading to a sunflower field that I haven’t seen. Are they going to be all picked? Did we have a drought/flood that killed them? Are they going to be droopy? Worst fears right?!
As you can see we experienced a gorgeous field! Actually there were so many stunning views, I was getting a little too excited! We also had a vibrant sky, great weather, and along with Kirkland’s style and grace, it all pulled together perfectly. I mean how great are those colors together. I also love it that Austin is himself here. He’s not all dolled up in something that isn’t him, and makes him uncomfortable. (take note ladies, he was a super happy guy!)
We decided to start the session on the deck, because it gave us a totally different look than the field. Then, we moved to the sunflowers, and chased some beautiful light!
I’m really looking forward to the coming months and planning what is sure to be a glorious and well attended wedding!

Family pictures on the family farm, makes for some good family time!
I’d like ya’ll to meet my sweet, sweet neighbors! We have been blessed. both personally and professionally with their generosity. My family is grateful to them in many ways, from storing hay, to using them as a petting zoo for Emily’s friends, to using there property for a variety of photo sessions from babies to seniors.
On this day, I was very blessed to be able to give them something.
Oh, and check out the blue eyed baby that I couldn’t take my eyes off of!

This family took my tagline of embracing the chaos to a whole new level!
This was one of those sessions where the stars didn’t align at first. But then, they DID. We had to reschedule a couple of times, but I think it all happened for a reason. Because we ended up with magic.
I made a point to arrive at the location a few minutes early. And boy, I was just blown away by the serenity. After driving past the old windmill, I came to a very old barn. It was made of stone and wood into the side of a little hill. I love to imagine what the times were like when it was built!
After driving around a bit, I found my spots where the light was just perfect, and prayed for a good sunset! Then I waited for my family… and boy did they come in with a bang!
This momma is gorgeous, I already knew that, but these girls! What style! And they wore it so well! The boys were pretty cute too. Then the horses were the icing on the cake!

This young lady holds a special place in my heart. She has shown such tenacity and strength, especially in the last couple of years. I lost track of all the honors and college classes that she’s taken. Last I spoke with her, she wanted to be a doctor. I’m sure by now, she’s zero’ed in on exactly what specialty.
I’m hoping she chooses UF, so I can be near her. …. And because the med school is top notch.
Ally, you are God’s treasure, as well as a treasure to all you meet. I can’t wait to see where you’ll go!

Oh momma! This young lady is an absolutely stunning mom-to-be.
As you can see, she wanted those belly pictures, but she also had other important things to document. Tiny boots, ultrasound, and the cutest puppy!
Amber, enjoy these moments, because baby T is about to run you! And you’ll love every minute of it 😉

Well if ranching doesn’t work out for this chic, she definitely needs to go into the styling arts. She planned every detail, and totally rocked it.
Baylee presented her hair styling ideas to Crystal Smith, and she totally rocked it too! Make up was spot-on and flawlessly done by Krysti Martin. We all knew 4 complete outfit and hair changes was a lofty attempt, but by working together, and rolling with the punches, and a whole lot of hustle, we did it.
Baylee, your world is changing so fast this summer! The excitement of the unknown combined with the confidence in your plans, makes for some mixed emotions I’m sure. Congratulations on your achievements, and I wish you many many more to come!

Amy is one of those real friends who I can hang out with like no time has ever passed. She is someone I will say anything to (good, bad, or ugly), and I trust her with my heart. I couldn’t be more happier for her, and the life she has built.
This session took place at the gorgeous Stonehedge Farm South in Williston, and due to it’s natural beauty, is a dream location. And I didn’t take the opportunity for granted!
Amy, thanks for being such a great human being. You are real, and I love that about you.

What better way to bring in the New Year than with a trip to the mountains?! Along this creek was the perfect place to do my niece’s yearly portraits. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful subject, it doesn’t get much better than that!

This chick was pretty in plaid!
On mini session day in Merritt Island, we opted for an old barn instead of the beach! It was a sweet spot, with pretty light, and a whole lotta cuteness.

Fall + Corn Maze + A Good Lookin’ Bunch = GREAT family session!
This is part of the family behind the charming (and flourishing) U Pick Lane. The corn maze and pumpkin patch is open during October. It’s a must see!
This evening was one of those where it tickles me to even call it work. We had a nice time strolling around and looking for the good spots, even inside the maze (but thankfully not too far in there!).
