This is the family session that literally weathered a storm, and it was worth it!
Megan had a bit of a hard time finding a session date, which is a common problem as we get closer to the holidays. And after daylight savings, there’s even more difficulty as sessions start at 4 pm, which feels so early.
So, when the beautiful day turned stormy, we had to push through. We managed to get in some pictures before the storm and some more after.
You’ll notice the difference vibe and color, which was pretty cool to us!

Hold on to your hats for this family session! This supremely fun and free family totals 10 humans!
I had a ball with this laid back family. There were no rules, no crazy expectations, and best of all, mom wanted the kids to be completely themselves. It made for a good time, with an unexpected and happy ending.

Welcome to the Morgan Family Petite Photo Session!
We get so much out of a 30 minute session, and truthfully that’s about the limit for a toddler!
And this toddler! Oh my! She was a bundle of joy and excitement. She was eager to show off her outfit and loved taking pictures…. for about 7 minutes. Then she was ready to run! Good thing 7 minutes is all I need to get that smile-at-the-camera picture. Then we played! I sure got in my steps keeping up with her!
Then this momma. She was radiantly proud of her family, and she had every right. They are a fun bunch who love to love each other. It was a joy to watch her smile get so big as she watched her babies smile and giggle!
See for yourself!

Oh man. I look forward to this family photography session year after year! Watching these kids grow has been a joy. I love comparing past year photos with the current year. We even try to recreate some of the poses so we can really see their changes.
Plus, these kids are a joy! They keep me laughing and an hour session absolutely flies by.

Sometimes mom just wants some nice portraits with her kids. We aptly call these sessions Mommy and Me. I offer these sessions as a Petite collection, because they are really quick, easy, and we can do them anytime of the day at my studio!
Anyway enough with the chit-chat… Check out this A.M.A.Z.I.N.G mommy right here. Fawn and her girls are a real treat. She’s raising them to be kind and respectful, and I absolutely loved having them over.
Enjoy!

It was a brilliant Florida day for a family photography session. Lots of warm sunshine after a cold, windy Winter, I was one happy photographer!
We were initially planning to do their session in downtown Sanford, but (thankfully!!) Mr. Schuster wanted to do the session in their neighborhood. He has a job where they move every so often, and he wanted the memory of this place they call home right now. Talk about husband points! Momma was so proud of her man.
I have photographed this family for several years now! It started with their youngest’s maternity session, which was also perfect by the way. Then I was asked to be a part of their precious hospital time for her Fresh 48 in St. Augustine. And we’ve had all their yearly sessions in between!
We are spoiled with each other, because we know what to expect and love on each other freely!
Funny story, we actually did some bargaining on this particular session. A while back she loaned me a lovely Tori Burch purse, and I was over the moon. I mean really, its just so soft and sooo preeettty. So when she offered to trade the session for the purse, I was all over that deal! Lucky me right! Just don’t tell my accountant, haha!
In addition to the location change, we decided to do the session in the middle of the day, when the girls would be happiest. I was thrilled! I love a challenge and midday Florida sun without a cloud in the sky, is sure a challenge. But with these beauties, how could I go wrong?!
See for yourself!

When you have a backyard like this, why would you ever leave? This sweet family session at their home was just perfect.
The Cramer family home served as a beautiful backdrop for their family session. We had great weather, a beautiful golden sunset, and lots of smiles.
