Hello & welcome to the blog! I'm Angela Norton, and I'm a family, senior, & wedding photographer based in North Central Florida. I'd love for you to relax a while here, and enjoy reading the ANP stories. You'll also find resources for your next session or wedding!
Welcome to the Morgan Family Petite Photo Session!
We get so much out of a 30 minute session, and truthfully that’s about the limit for a toddler!
And this toddler! Oh my! She was a bundle of joy and excitement. She was eager to show off her outfit and loved taking pictures…. for about 7 minutes. Then she was ready to run! Good thing 7 minutes is all I need to get that smile-at-the-camera picture. Then we played! I sure got in my steps keeping up with her!
Then this momma. She was radiantly proud of her family, and she had every right. They are a fun bunch who love to love each other. It was a joy to watch her smile get so big as she watched her babies smile and giggle!
See for yourself!

Petite Session | ANP Studio
Oh man. I look forward to this family photography session year after year! Watching these kids grow has been a joy. I love comparing past year photos with the current year. We even try to recreate some of the poses so we can really see their changes.
Plus, these kids are a joy! They keep me laughing and an hour session absolutely flies by.

Sometimes mom just wants some nice portraits with her kids. We aptly call these sessions Mommy and Me. I offer these sessions as a Petite collection, because they are really quick, easy, and we can do them anytime of the day at my studio!
Anyway enough with the chit-chat… Check out this A.M.A.Z.I.N.G mommy right here. Fawn and her girls are a real treat. She’s raising them to be kind and respectful, and I absolutely loved having them over.

Petite Studio Session, Morriston, Florida
It was a brilliant Florida day for a family photography session. Lots of warm sunshine after a cold, windy Winter, I was one happy photographer!
We were initially planning to do their session in downtown Sanford, but (thankfully!!) Mr. Schuster wanted to do the session in their neighborhood. He has a job where they move every so often, and he wanted the memory of this place they call home right now. Talk about husband points! Momma was so proud of her man.
I have photographed this family for several years now! It started with their youngest’s maternity session, which was also perfect by the way. Then I was asked to be a part of their precious hospital time for her Fresh 48 in St. Augustine. And we’ve had all their yearly sessions in between!
We are spoiled with each other, because we know what to expect and love on each other freely!
Funny story, we actually did some bargaining on this particular session. A while back she loaned me a lovely Tori Burch purse, and I was over the moon. I mean really, its just so soft and sooo preeettty. So when she offered to trade the session for the purse, I was all over that deal! Lucky me right! Just don’t tell my accountant, haha!
In addition to the location change, we decided to do the session in the middle of the day, when the girls would be happiest. I was thrilled! I love a challenge and midday Florida sun without a cloud in the sky, is sure a challenge. But with these beauties, how could I go wrong?!
See for yourself!

When you have a backyard like this, why would you ever leave? This sweet family session at their home was just perfect.
The Cramer family home served as a beautiful backdrop for their family session. We had great weather, a beautiful golden sunset, and lots of smiles.

Here’s a perfect example of why I offer Petite Sessions all year long. A half hour is perfect for quickly getting in a milestone session.
And ain’t nothing cuter than this sweet girl! K is a toddler on the move, and her momma and me were having a hard time keeping up with those cute little legs.
Bree and K were down visiting their family farm, and called me for a quick session. You see, K’s daddy is very far away in Washington serving in the military, and Bree wanted to do something special for him. I love it that Bree was super relaxed about it all. She simply wanted some pro images of K, with no fanfare…. easy peasy!
We had the session at Bree’s parents’ house, and just let K explore and run as much as she wanted! I just chased her with the camera, and played peek a boo every now and again.
This session was actually a reschedule from the night before. We were rained out of an evening session, and worked with our schedules to fit this one in on the next morning. The bright midday light was just what all of us needed, and the look fit’s K’s personality just right.
Bree, congrats on the other thing (wink, wink) too! I can’t wait to see ya’ll again!
Give K some sugar for me. 🙂

We were blessed with a great evening for this rustic summer teen session. I love Summer nights! Yea, it’s hot and humid here in Florida, but we can stay out late and get the most out of our beautiful skies.
One of the things I love the most about photographing high schoolers, is their willingness to try anything, and entertain seemingly crazy ideas! Tori is no exception! She was running through mud, jumping fields, and dabbing the sweat in between.
You see, creating a timeline for any session is a little bit of an art. I have to calculate location & outfit changes, sunset, golden hour, blue hour, etc. Then I have to assess the client, and create the timeline based on their individual goals, stamina, and needs. So I know I can push a teen a bit longer. They are typically very invested in working hard to get a great picture. So we actually did Tori’s session starting at golden hour and ending at dark.
It was phenomenal.
It helped that we’d had a hard rain just prior to her session, and that always perks everything up. That’s also why, here in Florida, I don’t reschedule sessions for rain until the very last minute. Quite often, our most beautiful evenings happen after a rainstorm!
I really admired how Tori was willing to work for some of these pictures, and I really, really enjoyed working with her! I absolutely loved this rustic teen summer session, and the results speak for themselves!!
