This young lady holds a special place in my heart. She has shown such tenacity and strength, especially in the last couple of years. I lost track of all the honors and college classes that she’s taken. Last I spoke with her, she wanted to be a doctor. I’m sure by now, she’s zero’ed in on exactly what specialty.

I’m hoping she chooses UF, so I can be near her. …. And because the med school is top notch.
